When will my shipment travel?

All packages are shipped on the next available flight and loaded after passengers and their bags. Priority will be given to Puffin Express, then Priority and then Standard. Contact your local cargo office to check current availability.

Is there a cutoff for shipping?

Packages must be received two hours prior to departure time.

Where is my shipment?

Customers can call (907) 600-7090 or email cargo@flyaleutian.com to check on the status of their package.

Do I have to pickup my packages or will they be delivered?

Recipients are responsible for picking up their packages. Packages will be available for pickup 90 minutes after the flight arrival at the airport check-in counter.

Why do I have to pay tax?

A Federal Excise Tax of 6.25% is applied to all U.S. shipments and is based on the basic weight/rate charge.

Can I ship dangerous goods?

Aleutian Airways will not transport hazmat or dangerous goods.

Can I ship wild game or seafood?

Temperature controlled storage is not available, therefore we cannot accept wild game or seafood at this time.

Can I ship firearms?

No, we cannot accept firearms for shipment. Generally, individuals may only ship firearms (such as sporting rifles, shotguns, handguns, silencers, starter pistols, BB guns and flare pistols) to themselves, a Federal Firearms Licensee (FLL) or a government law enforcement agency.

How do I file a claim?

To submit a claim please use this form. All claims, except for overcharges, must be made in writing to Aleutian Airways within a period of thirty (30) days after the date of receipt by consignee.

Does my Aleutian Business Club work for shipments?

Aleutian Business Club accounts will not automatically include cargo shipping privileges. To add cargo to your account please email cargo@flyaleutian.com.
