Aleutian Airways to Offer Service Daily During “A” Season

[Anchorage, Alaska, October 20, 2022] — Aleutian Airways, powered by Sterling Airways, announced today that it is increasing service between Anchorage, Alaska, and Unalaska/Dutch Harbor. Beginning December 26 and continuing through January 22, the airline will operate two roundtrips Monday through Friday and one roundtrip on Saturdays and Sundays.

Available flights can be booked online at flyaleutian.com, through your local travel agent or by calling the reservations department direct at (907) 600-7090, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Charter requests for group travel can be submitted at flyaleutian.com/charter.

“Since announcing our new service, we’ve seen strong demand from the local community, commercial fisheries and other Aleutian-based businesses for our service between Anchorage and Dutch Harbor,” said Wayne Heller, President, and CEO. “To support our new customers, we are increasing flight options during the busy “A” season period and are evaluating continued increases in service based on feedback and needs. Aleutian is here to support the community however we can,” he continued.   

Aleutian’s Saab 2000 brings safe, fast, and reliable, nonstop service to Unalaska/Dutch Harbor. The inaugural flight departs Anchorage at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, and arrives in Unalaska/Dutch Harbor at 9:45 a.m., marking the official start of scheduled service. Charter flights have been operational since Mid-August to destinations throughout Alaska and the Aleutian Islands.
